What Goalies Are Worth.
Every PWHL goalie's 2025-26 season measured by goals saved above average, then set against her salary. Sortable. The starters who earned their money, the bargains, and the ones the numbers do not flatter.
How it works. Goals saved above average (GSAA) takes the league save percentage, multiplies it by the shots a goalie faced, and compares that to the goals she actually allowed. A goalie at exactly league average sits at zero. Above zero means she stopped pucks an average goalie would not have. The league save percentage this season was .923, weighted by shots. GSAA per $100K divides that figure by salary, so a small number of saves on a minimum contract can still rate as good value. This version treats every shot as equal, with no adjustment for shot quality.
